How it works

The One combines scheduled dispensing with access controlled by the supplied RFID collar tag. PETLIBRO explicitly says it does not support implanted microchips.

For owners

Living with One RFID feeder

Your cat must wear the compatible tag for recognised access. If you want to use an existing implanted chip, this is a different system. Dispensing and selective access solve separate parts of the feeding routine. PETLIBRO’s FAQ says each feeder pairs with only one collar tag; do not assume one unit recognises several tagged pets.

For the trade

Explaining it to a customer

Show the tag during a demonstration and say clearly that the feeder does not read implanted chips. A customer looking for selective access may otherwise buy the wrong mechanism. Explain the one-tag-per-feeder limit when discussing multi-pet households.

Regional context

The source is PETLIBRO’s UK product listing for One RFID. Bundle contents, stock and current offers should be reconfirmed for an order.

What still needs checking

Household fit still depends on collar acceptance and how other pets approach the bowl. These have not been tested by this publication.
